CCS is a Certified Deconstruction Contractor, and Area Manager for The ReUse People of America, and is providing deconstruction services in northwest Illinois. We employ full-time, trained Deconstruction Workers, and are partnering with Winnebago County in a major Blight Reduction Program funded by the Illinois Housing Development Authority.

Deconstruction projects are offered to public or private entities on a fee-for service basis. Donation of salvaged materials can also provide a tax deduction for the owner.

Deconstruction is the systematic dismantling of structures, either total or partial, with an emphasis on salvaging materials for reuse or recycling and ultimately rescuing materials destined for a landfill. The activity is done by reversing the construction process. The program also includes marketing the resulting building materials through our Salvage Too retail store.
